Born in 1988, Amel Guellaty is a Tunisian photographer and director. In 2013 she made a short documentary “Les éboueurs de la mer” (The sea scavengers) – 8mn – as part of the Coca Cola campaign in Tunisia. In 2014, she won the call for projects of the NGO “Foundation for the Future” and co-directed the documentary “Née au printemps” (Born in spring) – 30 min. Finally in 2016, she wrote and directed her first short fiction film Black Mamba. She also enrolled at the International Center of Photography in New York in 2014. Back in Tunis, she began working with several fashion brands and participated in various group exhibitions in Tunisia.
