Durgamaya is graphic artist, illustrator and author of a Moroccan comic book based in France. She is also the co-founder of SPIN OFF, the micro-publishing festival in Angoulême in France. Her work focuses essentially on the relation with the body, and promises greater freedom for women and the LGBTQIA+ community in the countries of the MENA region. She creates visuals inspired by Moroccan motifs and stems from Islamic art, whilst adding an erotic touch to it.
