Yara

Yara  is a “project” of an Algerian poet/slam poet. Born in 1996, she is currently a student at the Polytechnic School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Algiers. From an early age, she was interested in writing, on the condition of women in so-called “Arab” societies. But it was only at the beginning of the year 2018 that she attacks her artistic career. After a first artistic performance as part of the “Exiled Muses”, she participated in the competition of feminine Slam and Poetry of Constantine. She recently participated in the International Women’s Poetry Festival in Laghouat. Yara believes in gender equality, in inter-sectional feminism and has the motto “LIVE THE WOMAN! “
